Inertia

I woke up at 8:00 am last Sunday to do my yoga, as usual. I rushed to the mat before I changed my mind. The bed was calling me back! Then, I took a moment to think, “why am I doing this, why bother sacrificing a morning in bed to do yoga?” the answer was, “to stop inertia”.
How many things we do in Life with the auto pilot on? Yoga makes me aware of that. That’s why it’s worth it. This awareness allows me to enjoy life under ANY circumstance. I don’t have to wait for the next weekend to feel happy, or the next summer vacation. Life becomes a continuous flow of experiences, without a label. Simply life as is.
