Approaching relationships from a business point of view gives us the objectivity of witness consciousness.

The more I gain experience in my business the more useful I find the tools developed in this environment for my personal life.

Life is about learning through relationships. This is the medium through which the Universe teaches its lessons. Business decisions, in order to benefit all parties involved, and therefore be maintained, need to be made from egoless minds. We must switch to witness consciousness, objectively seeing facts as they are, without the interpretation of our pre-programmed self.

I have a business in art reproduction. Most of my clients are artists who come to me to copy their paintings because they can not part away from it. Let’s analyze this from a business point of view:

Cost of painting (materials, art classes, transportation, etc): $1,000

Value of painting: $0 because it’s usually given away to friends, family or charities

Cost of giclee: $250

Value of giclee: $0 because it’s usually given away to friends, family or charities

Cost of ego component (approval from friends, family and society): -$1,250

Value for the ego: priceless!

This negative number goes up in proportion to the pockets of each client. Some times artists are even willing to pay with debt.

When our focus is on feeding the ego, there is no energy left for the creation, enjoyment and sharing of a more harmonious Life that can ultimately benefit all parties in Life’s transactions.
