The Beautiful Mundane

I move my iPhone around an ordinary object–a tree, a sidewalk, a flower, a computer or an abandoned bike–until it “clicks”, until the composition works for me. I shoot several versions and delete anything that doesn’t surprise me. I’m ruthless. At last, I apply filters, only in my iPhone and without ever cropping. From time to time, I visit my library and delete what doesn’t please me any longer. Only the images that stand the test of time, make it to this collection.

Place them in mugs, calendars, throws, cups, cards, murals or framed pictures. Email me if interested mariluholmes@gmail.com

All images are copyrighted. USING THEM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION IS NOT ONLY BAD TASTE BUT ALSO ILLEGAL.
